Transport Crisis: Europe needs 745,000 truck drivers by 2028

With an office in Lisbon and workers spread across the country working remotely, Dashlane has 50 job offers in the areas of engineering, customer support and product, supporting the reallocation of talent with a monetary grant of four thousand euros, as well as travel and logistical support.

Eligible for this initiative by the company are "people who accept a full-time salaried position in technology and who want to move permanently from a foreign country to any location in Portugal", the company explains in a statement.

The initiative also includes the employee's household who also travels, namely the spouse/partner and dependent children, says a specialist in password management and digital identity.

The support package offered by the company includes "a fixed amount of four thousand euros - which can be used freely by the employee to cover expenses with furniture, Portuguese classes, among other expenses related to moving and adapting to the new country -, travel exploratory and definitive for the future employee and respective household, temporary accommodation for up to 30 days and time off for relocation".

The technology company that develops an identity management platform also provides "legal support to support the visa and residence permit process, as well as specialist relocation consultants to help with the necessary documentation, the search for accommodation (both temporary and permanent ), school for the children - if applicable - and assistance with all administrative and governmental matters".

However, taking into account the current conflict situation in Ukraine, the company has also created a new program that "facilitates the process for job seekers coming from the country, guaranteeing faster interview and feedback and, in the case of hiring, facilitating access to residence and to all the necessary conditions for the installation in Portugal, both for the new employee and for the respective household".

According to Dashlane, the "fast-track application" is open "to anyone who is still in Ukraine - or who has left the country after February 24 - and who meets the requirements associated with the role for which they are applying".

To those who are hired, in addition to offering all the conditions related to the relocation package, the company will also provide "therapy and counseling through a mental health program".

In addition to Lisbon, Dashlane also has offices in Paris and New York, ensuring that it has more than 15 million users and 20,000 companies in 180 countries.
